Sit for a minute
# Chapter 342
When it seems that you have exhausted your positivity and can-doism and your bandwidth for more, realize that you need to sit down in a comfortable chair. I just did this along with you. Have a cup or glass of your favorite beverage, I have my coffee. Make sure you can think a bit wherever you put this favorite chair of yours, mine is on the porch. Now that you are situated, sit back in the comfortable chair and nurse that beverage and listen to your heart beat, the birds chirping and the neighbors rehab job, and the mower running, and the weed whacker whining, and the cars moving out on your street and the sound of kids playing and your heart beat.
Now be grateful. Not filled with all the problems and challenges that you face today and this week, not all the pains in your body, not all the lost opportunities of your past, not your to-do list that just keeps getting longer and longer, not your car repairs, not your property taxes due, not your job or your hunt for a job, not your weight gains and your muscles lost, not your thinning hair and shrinking bladder, instead be grateful. Grateful that you are not reading this while in the hospital, not in the nursing home, mobile and able to make your own decisions. Not hungry most likely, have an eduction, can make it work. Sit back and be grateful, you can finish this on out yourself, I am being grateful right now . . . .
